The work of the ministry at Glady Branch shall be accomplished through the team concept. All team members shall be recommended by the church Volunteer Coordinating Team and elected by the church unless otherwise specified within the bylaws. Team members shall serve on an annual basis, beginning on September 1st of each year. Each team is responsible for selecting their Team Captains. The team captain works closely with the staff person responsible for the team's area of ministry. The pastor shall serve as an ex-officio member of each team. Additions or deletions of teams may be accomplished by the amendment procedure prescribed within the by-laws. The teams are built on the Purpose Statement of Glady Branch which states, "We gather together to worship the Lord, to encourage each other, to study the Word of God, to equip ourselves for ministry and to help bring people to Jesus. This is a five-point purpose statement - Worship, Fellowship, Disciple, Service (ministry), Evangelize.
